    By Decree ¹ 154 from 1992 of the Council of Ministers, the management and control of the functioning and development of CITIZEN REGISTRATION system (ESGRAON) are assigned to the Directorate General “Citizen Registration” with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and to the 28 Territorial Units “Citizen Registration” located in the former administrative centers of the districts.

    Pursuant to the Road Act, the overall management and control of the road policy in the Republic of Bulgaria is implemented by the Road Executive Agency with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works
