How to Build a Property Website
If
you thought it was difficult or expensive to build a property website,
think again.
Here’s an example, complete with actual screenshots, showing exactly how to build a "Site Build It" (SBI) web site for yourself. You won’t believe how easy it is.
In this example, there are just three html commands employed:
-
"font" - using basic colour naming format
-
"table" commands
-
"bulleted list" command
See? You don’t have to be a programmer after all! SBI is one of the most simple website editors you’ll ever find. It is the easiest way to build a property website.
SBI isn't just for property websites ... you can develop any website-concept for any type of hobby or business using these powerful tools. All you need is a passion for your subject and information that your readers will want to come back for time and again!
OK, enough chat ... Let’s get started!
Getting Started With SBI Web Editing Tools
Site Central is the heart of your SBI website.
All of your files are created and stored here. All of your traffic monitoring, e-zine building, form building, and link management tools also reside here.
In addition, there are extremely powerful tools that will help you to fine-tune your site concept and select the keywords that are most appropriate for your target audience. You will also be able to research your competition and develop more great content ideas.

Click the "Add a Sitebuilder Page" button. This sends you to the next screenshot.
Now you will be led through a process that will, in a few short moments, assist you in writing pages of informative text about your specialist subject.
Simply type in the keywords that describe your apartment. Focus on elements that you believe will distinguish your apartment from other apartments in your area.
Be sure to blend keywords that match with the keywords you entered in the "page information" dialogue box, at the top of the page.

Example
"Spacious and modern 3 bedroomed central London apartment with spectacular views over the River Thames and the Oxo Tower. Complementing the open plan living area is a sumptuous master bedroom suite ....."
Adding Graphics

To enhance the description of your property you should add images.
To do this you simply upload them to the Image filestore - from Site Central. This is very easy to do.
Select the image from your c:/ using the browse feature in the tool, and then name the image. Press OK and the image is ready for use in http://www.yourdomain.com/images/myimage.html.

You can place the image anywhere on the page by building a very simple table, or by using the graphics tool provided within the block-building options list.
Either way, you will quickly have images on your page, wherever you want them placed!
See how easy it is to wrap your text around the image?
Testing Your Work
Now you need to see how your page looks so that you can make modifications if necessary.
Note:
SBI will automatically throw your page so that it looks wrong if you incorrectly code your html, e,g if you miss a bracket "<" ">" off the end of a command, or don’t terminate the command with a "/".
This makes editing extremely easy as you can instantly see where you have made a mistake!

Now you've added some text and graphics and are anxious to see how the page looks.
In the screenshot above you will see a "Preview Button" on the left. Clicking on this button will launch a new instance of your browser.
The image you see will be the same image that others see when they access your site. You can very easily check for errors, or make modifications.
Once you have tested the look of the page, you need to test the density of your keywords on the page.

Click on the "Analyze" button. Again, a new browser instance will be created telling you where you should make changes.
The example above shows the kind of information that you are given in the automatic response from the analyser tool.
Just keep modifying your text, then analysing your page until all the boxes say "Good". Now you have a webpage written that is likely to be seen by the search engines!
What about Traffic Monitoring?
Once you build a property website you will want to know which pages are being visited the most, and which ones get the least hits.
Again, SBI contains tools that will show you the statistics for every page on your site at the click of a button.
This tool also gives you help with developing your link exchange programmes, automating searches for suitable link partners. It saves you hours of scanning the internet!
